Diane Bellamy
High Risk Interventionist
Founder and CEO of In His Image Hair Studio, Diane Bellamy rose from humble beginnings to newsworthy mentions. As a child, Diane always aspired to help people see the beauty God has given them. She became a licensed cosmetologist and began her journey. For over fifteen years, Diane has been gifted as a well-sought loctician specializing in homeopathic formulas and in other natural hair care methods. In 2017, Diane realized her vision to begin her God-given ministry “Beauty to the Block”, in which she provided free hair styles, haircuts, clothing and personal care items to the most vulnerable populations in Mercer County, NJ. After publishing her children's book Help I've Lost My Pretty in 2019, she affirmed that she could help people feel beautiful through ministry in her hometown and afar. In 2020, she expanded and developed Diane Elizabeth Hair Care to provide her proven growth serum, leave-in conditioners and hair sebum. These accomplishments in the beauty industry laid the foundation for Diane to establish the non-profit organization Beauty to the Block Inc. Beauty to the Block Inc. is a community organization birth from the original outreach that has been recognized in the news as a holistic service project that meets a variety of community needs from hunger to fostering a sense of beauty. Diane did not stop with beauty on the outside.
From periodic homelessness to suffering the effects of gun violence in her own family, Diane found herself relying on the presence of God to triumph over tribulations and to understand that people needed hope in their lives. Along with her husband, Pastor Antonio Bellamy, First Lady Diane deep dived into her hometown of Trenton, and the couple started Transformation Church. They began hosting Hope for My City events in addition to addressing issues in the community through teaching the gospel. The church received the Community Achievement Award from the City of Trenton during the first year of operation and subsequent honors for their continued work. Diane is also a certified trauma healing facilitator and is an activist in the City of Trenton. She is a High Risk Interventionist and a team member of the Trenton Street Team for Salvation and Social Justice. She is also the current Director for the Safe Passage Program. This program focuses on creating a safe environment for the youth to grow and learn in school and as they return to their homes. Diane can be found in schools hosting weekly workshops and talking to students about their choices.
When Diane is not in the community, she focuses on her first ministry of mothering her three beautiful children. Through faith and obedience Diane strives to continue to show the world how beautiful it can be through self-care and hair care. She has been featured on podcasts and in the news to let everyone know, young and old, that we are made in His image and that we should embrace our God given purpose!
